		<description>I don&#039;t see how Firefox having a new way to play (currently) Ogg Theora, Ogg Vorbis, and WAV format media helps cut down on the chaos.  It seems to me the consistency needs to be in the source, not the player.</description>

I know this isn&#039;t completely parallel with the ideas you discussed in this post, but if it catches on, it may be one more step in the right direction. At the very least, the users will be given a greater degree of control for customizing the video player or restricting unwanted behavior (such as auto-play).

It&#039;s a Friday and I&#039;m having a hard time thinking straight so I&#039;m gonna leave it at that. :)</description>
